PCH Prize Patrol Scam this is what one looks like in real life

So for those of you who have been following me on here and other places for a while you know there are some major things going on in my life and the last thing I need is to be scammed by some cheap crooks.

What kinds of things you ask? Mom has Alzheimer's Disease and doesn't even remember me. My father has congestive heart failure and I spend a lot of my time helping him with things he can no longer do. These things I do out of the love I have for them and will never stop until either they pass or I pass to the next life.

Out of my own choice I am divorcing my wife of 8 years because we got stuck into a routine of all work, no play, and together we were like oil and water, so best to move on from that.

So I get onto facebook this morning, and I know that a lot of you have seen my postings about entering Publisher's Clearing House and how for over 20 years I've entered and never won anything.

To my surprise I receive a friend request from none other than Danielle Lam of the Prize Patrol. I freaked. Not only is this woman a knock out and yes we men do dream about her wearing nothing but that coat and a smile, but that's another posting!! LOL

Screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_8

and what I noticed on this was a couple of things:

a. "Worked at" Publishers Clearing House

b. Prizepatrol

You see I've been following these folks since they landed on facebook and know for a fact that Danielle Lam STILL WORKS AT Publisher's Clearing House

and that Prize Patrol is the correct way of their spelling of that lovely truck with all the money in it.

So I decided to start a chat and boy oh boy did this get interesting. Read along through the chat transcript and you'll see things that you should be aware of as they try to scam you.

a. Prize Patrol, PCH, Danielle Lam, Todd Sloane, Dave Sayer will NEVER ask you to go purchase a MoneyPak card for $599.99 to claim your prize. EVER!!!!!
But these sick bastards did.

Screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_8

And we continue on with them scamming me. But wait?? You want me to be calm? You just told me I won $10,000,000.00 in a contest that I have been entering for 20 years and never won so much as a Dime? HELL NO I am not calming down. I am going to go fucking ballistic and tell the world!!! Oh but you want me to not tell anyone. Okay, this is fun. Ssssshhhhh!

Screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_8

So above is the scam. And the TRUE PRIZE PATROL WILL NEVER ASK FOR THIS. And see more details in the next snippet. They want me to purchase a Money Pak card for $599.99 to claim my $10,000,000.00 prize. HELL NO I am not buying a card. I know better. You should too.

0screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_8

So I tell them I am leaving to go to Walmart and that my hearing is not good so call my cell and leave a message or give me a number to call them back on. So they do!!!! Probably a burn phone, but someone should be able to track something.

209-568-4920 is the number. Anyone out there Police? SEAL? FBI? Want to get in on this and nail these bastards?

Screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_8

They're asking where I am and even with the misspellings I am pretty sure that Danielle and the gang would never tell someone who was winning some money from them to "MAKE IT SNAPPY" as seen below.

0screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_8
And so after waiting a bit I tell them that Walmart denies my payment. They now give me my "CODE" that I need to claim my prize. Unfortunately if I do try to claim this, the real Prize Patrol will laugh at me.

Screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_8

So even though I have no card for them, they're saying they're going to arrive within an hour and 45 minutes.

Screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_9
They don't read well because this message came next, and at the end, you'll notice the little Triangles, those indicate that they're no longer talking to me because they've either blocked me, or they deleted their page. We'll see shortly.

Screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_9

And sure enough the page has been deleted. Either by them or by facebook. Either way, the last image you'll see after this one is from the profile of the REAL DANIELLE LAM (yes she is TOO FINE) and it explains what PCH will and WON'T DO. They won't do ANY of this stuff above EVER to claim a prize. And I sure wish they'd arrive on my doorstep, but the chance of that happening or any large windfall of cash coming my way to help me get over the humps is pretty slim right now. I keep waiting for reindeer on the roof, but all I hear is bird droppings. LOL

Screen_shot_2012-12-22_at_9
Read this info below. It's from the REAL DANIELLE LAM And it tells what they will NOT do EVER. You never have to pay for prizes and you never get friend requests from them or private messages.

Real_info

Please be aware that during this time of year there are some less than scrupulous people out there that will try and take your hard earned money. I am not one of them and neither is Publishers Clearing House. But there are people out there who will try to impersonate them. BEWARE.

And know, if you of anyone who can help me achieve my funding goal at the link below, please guide them to it. I could really use the help at this time and I so appreciate anyone contributing to this cause. But let's make it a WIN-WIN because that's in alignment with who I am.

Thanks and God bless.

Is there a Doctor in the House?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of © Blue Shield of California. All opinions are 100% mine.

Nope, but there's one on the web in a great place! Have you dropped over here yet? Dr. Jim and Bob's Fun & Helpful Health Advice

Just when you thought it was safe to get sick along come Dr. Jim & BOB Photobucket

courtesy of an amazing not for profit company known as Blue Shield of CA.

Ever had a problem with Snoring? Me too!

And every now and again after woofing down what I think is a great meal out of nowhere comes this thing called Heartburn that nails me to the bed and makes me wish I was not around anymore. You?

It's nice to know there's a company out there that provides easy access to things like chiropractors and acupuncture which other companies don't.

One thing I've personally loved about Blue Shield of CA is that their website is full of helpful information about affordable health plans, easy access to great doctors in your area and they provide quick and easy support when you can't find things.

I find the Dr Jim & Bob videos helpful as they sort of play good cop, bad cop. One is humorous, the other provides great information in an understandable fashion.

Feet itching? Painful to walk on sometimes? Check out this video on Athlete's Foot as that's what you might have:

Is your breath always bad? Not finding any relief? You might have this condition known as halitosis: It happens to many and they never realize that they have it until they get in a situation where it could really embarrass them.

The Dr. Jim & Bob page will give you a ton of great information as they're always scanning the internet for people that are asking about medical issues, then they create a video to share with everyone that talks about that problem and provides useful information which is based in fact, not fiction.

So when you have a chance get over and check this out and bookmark it for days when you might need to find answers to questions about your health.

Thanks for taking time out to read this and I hope it helps.

SocialSafe - Sync & Preserve your Social presence

SocialSafe...ran across this purely by accident. If you've been reading the internet news recently there's been a big hoopla over facebook/instagram now claiming ownership of everything that post in the form of images (am waiting for them to do that with regards to writings and see how fast the 800 million or a Billion users leave and demand all of their materials be deleted and Apple swoops in to pick up the pieces.

Anyway when you upload images to a place online, it's great to have a way to preserve them or back them up somewhere just in case something like this comes along. I am sure this is not what the creators of socialsafe had in mind when they made the software, but when they read on twitter that I was having an issue using a service called "instaport.me" which was supposed to easily allow me to get my pictures from instagram, SocialSafe approached me and said we can do that and we don't keep your content.

Interesting, let me take a look. So I did and what I found was a really cool application that is super easy to install (I did the Mac version, PC users am guessing it's the same, but don't quote me).

After a quick download, I installed the application, launched it and found a simple interface

Screen_shot_2012-12-18_at_2
That lists your accounts, or let's you add them in easily. You put in your information, it asks for permission to access your account and then once in it scans for the information/images and offers to download from that site into your computer. Not hold things on a server, compress them, ultimately keep a copy of them there, and then download them. Social Safe goes from the site to your computer. They don't keep your images.

When you're ready to sync from an account, you press the sync button and you get a screen like this one which informs you that if you're syncing for the first time this might take a bit, and depending on how many images you're doing it could

Screen_shot_2012-12-18_at_9
Then once done it presents you a way to download them to your computer and save them. Once downloaded you can then delete the account from instagram or wherever you have it.

While you're downloading you can easily read through their tour by clicking a link in the app, it opens a small window like this one

0screen_shot_2012-12-18_at_9
and you can then read more about the features of the app and how to easily accomplish that which you need to do. Here's a couple of more images from the application tour

And once you're all done with everything, the application presents you with an easy to read "Journal" view like below

0screen_shot_2012-12-18_at_2
From this point you can add additional accounts, search through images, tags, events, and such. You can sync again, you can backup images from the app to your computer for storage elsewhere...Very, VERY COOL!!! Yes, this APP DOES ROCK!!!

Where do you get it? http://socialsafe.net/

What does it cost? There is a trial version. I would encourage you to sign up for a licensed version of this so you can back up all of your networks if you desire to do so.

What networks does it support? I thought you'd never ask!!

Facebook, Facebook PAGES, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, Viadeo and more on the way!!

All I can say to these guys is I LOVE THIS SOFTWARE!!! Thanks for showing up when you did. I hope you sell a million copies of this today!

And yes this does get the DocMurdock™ APPROVED BIGTIME STAMP on it. Definitely use this as it does everything it says it does. Nice job to the developers. Steve Jobs would have been proud of this.

Thanks for taking time to read.

Rethink your Pretzel!!! DocMurdock APPROVED!!

Pcrisps

Yes, we even put the stamp of approval on food products when appropriate. When I was first contacted by these folks I thought...hmmm....interesting, let's see what they send over.
I did not expect what I received which was an amazing package of superior product. Packed and shipped amazingly well, and fresh...WOW. They did include some additional marketing materials
as well as a shopping bag, the type you'd purchase at a Trader Joes or other kind of market. This so you can shop and tell the world that you love this snack. It's not just a pretzel, it's crispy and makes a great dipping crisp as well. The thing about dipping is you have to have strength in your product in order to stand up to the pressure of pushing something into a dip.

I love these!!! They're firm, they handle the pressure of the dip, they melt in your mouth, and the flavors they have...AWESOME!! Can you tell I love these? Well I do, and yes I have these bags here at the house, but I don't normally eat things like this so for me to even break one of these open is a chore. However, knowing them as I now do...Every football game is now a reason to try one of these out.

So, when you can, get over to www.pretzelcrisps.com and see what they offer, where to buy them and make sure to stock up because this stuff is AWESOME!!

And...it's also DocMurdock™ APPROVED BIGTIME!!

Best regards and happy dipping!
